Vagabond - The Peak Fiction
Vagabond is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takehiko Inoue. It was first serialized in Weekly Morning magazine in 1998 and is still ongoing. The story is loosely based on Eiji Yoshikawa's novel "Musashi," which tells the life story of Miyamoto Musashi, a legendary swordsman in ancient Japan. The story begins with a young man named Shinmen Takezō, who grows up in a turbulent period in Japan's history known as the Sengoku period. Takezō is known for his exceptional fighting skills and fierce determination, but he often finds himself at odds with the rules and expectations of society. After a series of tragic events, Takezō sets out on a journey to become the greatest swordsman in the land and to seek redemption for his past actions.
